Emily Procter

 American actress Emily Mallory Procter, born October 8, 1968, is also an activist. She played Ainsley Hayes, a character in The West Wing's political dramas (2000-2002 in 2006, 2000, and 2006). Calleigh Duquesne in CBS's police procedural drama CSI: Miami 2002-2012



 



 Childhood and early life



 Procter was born on the 8th of October in 1968. As a child she was adopted by William Procter (a general practitioner) and Barbara Jones (a volunteer worker). She was raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was 3 years old at the time her parents divorced. Whit is her elder brother, and she is also an adopted child.



 



 Procter went to Ravenscroft School in Raleigh. Procter attended East Carolina University and was an active member of Alpha Delta Pi. She was a television anchor for the WNCT-TV in Greenville, North Carolina. After graduation, she received degrees in journalism and dance.
